Performance Program

*No Audition Necessary!

A program for our most enthusiastic “CLASSICS” dancers age 5 and over who excel in their classes and are eager to take their dance to the next level by participating in dance competitions.

If your child loves to dance, is highly motivated, has the commitment and determination to be the best dancer they can be this is the perfect program for them!

The Excel Program groups dancers of similar abilities and ages together to create incredible new choreography for duets through groups. Groups may be created with dancers from a number of equivalent classes.

All participating dancers must be registered in a weekly class or classes at TGS and have an excellent attendance record.

Dancers must have a teacher’s recommendation, please tell your teacher or let the office know if you’re interested.

Rehearsal period begins in November or December and continues weekly through February with our first competition usually in mid-March. Rehearsals are in addition to weekly combo-classes.

One payment covers it all!

Excel performance program tuition is all inclusive and includes all rehearsals, 1 complete costume and 2 competition entry fees.

Project Moves Dance Company

PROJECT MOVES performs at benefits, special events and self produced concerts. The company also participates in 2 to 4 regional competitions as well as an optional national competition each year.

Thoughtful guidance is given to every dancer by a diverse and unique faculty that cares.

Although technical classes include: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Conditioning, Pilates and a few other things here and there, most students gain much more than dance training from Project Moves.

Our dancers are unique in their maturity; dancers demonstrate a respect for their art, their teachers and each other. By promoting excellence, passion and risk taking, this unique program provides a solid foundation for any young person, whether their future includes a career as a dance artist or not.
